WLNC 2026 AFTERWORD

Dear Friends,

As WLNC 2026 comes to a close, we reflect with great pride and gratitude on an outstanding meeting held in the beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal. This year's congress once again demonstrated our shared commitment to advancing neurovascular care through global collaboration, innovation, and education.

With over 700 attendees from 63 countries, WLNC 2026 brought together a truly international community over three dynamic days. The scientific program featured a comprehensive range of sessions, including live case transmissions from leading centers around the world (Limoges, Jacksonville, Ankara, Istanbul, Shanghai, and Buenos Aires) - alongside interactive discussions and cutting-edge presentations.

The unique WLNC format—centered around real-time case-based learning—provided an exceptional platform for knowledge exchange, enabling participants to engage directly with world-renowned experts and clinical teams. As usual, live curative endovascular treatment of 3 high grade AVMs, many complex aneurysms, extra and intracranial revascularization cases reflected a real life experience we faced and debated together.

This success would not have been possible without the invaluable contributions of our distinguished faculty, the generous support of our sponsors, and the active engagement of all participants. Together, we created an inspiring environment of learning, collaboration, and progress.

Looking ahead, WLNC 2027 will be held as a Joint Meeting with iCure Stroke. We look forward to welcoming you to Istanbul on 5-8 May 2027 for what promises to be another exceptional gathering of the global neurovascular and stroke community.
